I spotted this little chap outside Sainsbury's this morning when I popped in for some bits*.
Isn't he brilliant?!
I've seen him around town quite a lot and have wanted to get a picture of him for a while. The best thing about him is that his owner (who is a fabulous lady in her 70s) always dresses them both like twins. I sadly didn't see her today, but you can bet your bottom dollar she was sashaying around the supermarket in a matching red union jack t-shirt, spotty bandana and baseball cap.
More about crazy animals later...
* I bought some pasta sheets for the lasagne I'm making tonight. I bought Lasagne Verdi which I love and am crazy about the colour. I just found myself looking at it and thinking how would be a brilliant colour to paint the wall behind a bed with a few Michael Sowa pieces hung in ostentatious frames.
One of my favourite Michael Sowa images is a rabbit on a train ride, somewhere amazing. I can't find it on google and worry I might have made it up!
ReplyDeleteAlso, nothing like a good salad. Are new potatoes the new potatoes?
No no! you haven't made it up - it's a real painting and I have a postcard of it hanging on a line above my desk!
